NEWPORT BEACH, California (February 5, 2026) – CureDuchenne, a global leader in accelerating research and care for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, has announced that its annual Napa in Newport event will debut as an elevated weekend-long experience, showcasing the best of Napa Valley in coastal luxury. Taking place March 20–22, 2026, at Pendry Newport Beach, the three-day experience offers a celebration of world-class wine, cuisine, and purpose to advance research, care, and advocacy for those living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
“We are thrilled to transform our annual Napa in Newport gala into a full-weekend experience, bringing the rarest pours from Napa Valley to Newport Beach,” said Debra Miller, founder and CEO of CureDuchenne. “From intimate vintner dinners to the signature Gala and exclusive tastings, this weekend celebrates the artistry of world-class winemakers and chefs while bringing life-changing treatments, and ultimately, a cure, to thousands living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We’re so grateful for the incredible support from our community year after year for this one-of-a-kind event.”
An Elite Roster of Napa Valley Vintners
Napa in Newport 2026 proudly welcomes an extraordinary roster of world-class vintners, led by Vintner Chair Peter Michael Winery. Drawing inspiration from the great wineries of Burgundy and Bordeaux, the winemaking team at Peter Michael Winery crafts terroir-driven, estate-grown wines. Today, second-generation Paul Michael and his wife Emily continue the family’s vision, adhering to the founding principles of mountain vineyards, classical winemaking, and limited production.
Guests will also have the rare opportunity to experience wines from ADAMVS, Alpha Omega, Aperture, Arrow&Branch, Bure Family Wines, Cardinale, Cathiard Vineyard, Cervantes Family Vineyards, Chappellet Vineyard, Dana Estates, Diamond Mountain Vineyard, Fairchild, JCB, Lerner Project, MacDonald, Morlet Family Vineyards, Pahlmeyer, Peter Michael Winery, Prophet & Poet, Pulido~Walker, Rebellium, Revana, Seven Stones, Simon Family Estate, Sire Estate Wines, and The Setting.
Intimate Vintner Dinners Open the Weekend
The weekend opens on Friday, March 20 with exclusive vintner dinners hosted by Vintner Chair Peter Michael Winery and Simon Family Estate. Guests will enjoy an intimate, specially curated, five-star dining experience with exceptional wines and the opportunity for an intimate meal shared with prestigious winemakers.
Black-Tie Gala: Rare Wines, Fine Dining & Live Auction
Saturday’s black-tie gala begins with the Grand Tasting, featuring over 25 premier Napa Valley wineries pouring limited-production wines and offering rare access to the vintners themselves. Guests will then savor a gourmet dinner by Chef Colin Bedford, Executive Chef at Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, who brings a unique blend of British and Southern influences to his cooking, creating dishes that are comforting, sophisticated and fanciful. The multi-course dinner will be paired tableside by Napa Valley winemakers for an immersive culinary experience. The evening will culminate with a high-energy live auction of exclusive travel, private dining, and rare wines.
New this year, The Ultimate Pour, held before the Grand Tasting, offers an intimate tasting of rare vintages from cult producer Macdonald and the acclaimed Fairchild. Having the chance to taste these wines in a private setting is almost unheard of—even seasoned collectors rarely gain such access—making this a true VIP-of-VIP experience and a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Napa legacy and luxury. Access to The Ultimate Pour is available with select sponsorships and weekend packages.
Immediately following the Gala, the VIP After Party at the Elwood Club’s private Cabaret Room at Pendry Newport Beach continues the evening with signature cocktails, live cigar rolling, light bites, and high-energy entertainment in a luxe, members-only setting.
A Sparkling Farewell: Brunch & Bubbles
The weekend concludes on Sunday, March 22, with a relaxed yet elegant Brunch & Bubbles, featuring curated pairings and sparkling wines from a featured Napa vintner, JCB. It’s a perfect, celebratory close to a weekend of wine, cuisine, and purposeful action towards a cure.
A Weekend with Purpose
