Full-Day Conference Will Bring Education, Support, and Connection to Families and Healthcare Providers Serving the Duchenne and Becker Community
Newport Beach, Calif., September 18, 2025 — CureDuchenne, a global leader in accelerating research and care for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, is proud to announce CureDuchenne Fuerza 2025, an international educational and community-building conference taking place in Mexico City on October 25, 2025. The event will be hosted as part of CureDuchenne’s expanding International Program and presented in collaboration with numerous advocacy, clinical, and research partners throughout Mexico.
This one-day, free, bilingual event is open to individuals and families affected by Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy, healthcare professionals, government officials, advocates, and industry leaders. Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available, with additional “watch parties” planned in other states across Mexico to ensure broad participation and impact. Local transportation support will be provided to help families attend in person, with virtual programming offered free of charge to maximize accessibility.

CureDuchenne Fuerza 2025 is designed to expand clinical knowledge for healthcare providers, engage key opinion leaders, improve standards of care for those living with Duchenne and Becker in Mexico, enhance access to vital research and therapies, and empower families. The event will bring together renowned medical experts, physical and occupational therapists, and leading advocacy organizations to provide comprehensive education and support for the Duchenne community.
